December 10, 2010 (Marlton, NJ) Gene Pargas, Vice President of Business Development at eMaint Enterprises, addressed the Georgia Chapter of the Vibration Institute today on the topic of “CMMS and Condition Monitoring”.
The Vibration Institute is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the dissemination of practical information on evaluating machinery behavior. Gene delivered the keynote address today at the quarterly meeting of the Georgia Chapter of the Vibration Institute, founded in 1990.
Gene highlighted the ways in which a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) can help extend equipment life, reduce downtime and lower the total cost of ownership (TCO) through improved preventive and predictive maintenance.
The meeting was hosted by Cardinal CG, a manufacturer of residential glass for windows and doors, at their Buford, Georgia facility. Gene was invited to speak at the chapter meeting by Boyd Helm., Cardinal CG Maintenance Supervisor. Gene had worked closely with Boyd and his team during their conversion from Datastream MP2 to eMaint X3 CMMS earlier this year. Boyd noted that eMaint’s partnership with Cardinal CG staff and the ongoing support he receives has helped him exceed his CMMS implementation goals.
Gene Pargas has headed up eMaint’s Business Development efforts since joining eMaint in 2006. He acts as an advisor for several national accounts on their CMMS implementations and ongoing optimization efforts. Gene is available for speaking engagements and can be reached at 856-210-2700 X7241 or via email.
